Sessions & Fees
Nurturing Hearts is primarily here to support our working families by giving parents the gift of knowing that while they are at work supporting their families, we are here making sure their tamariki have the best, nurtured start in life with kaitiaki who put them first, love, care and support their interests and investigations into their learning. We have a great day, so parents can too.
We are open from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Discounts and Concessions
Driving along Route 19, you'll see many big centres offering discounts - first four weeks free, first three months half price fees. At Nurturing Hearts, we know that it is the putting children first that counts. Love grows brains! - Nathan Wallis.
However, if one of these offers is going to make the difference to you starting childcare (we know it can be financially tough), we are happy to match any of these offers, because children matter and here at Nurturing Hearts we grows brains; through love, a homelike setting, and so many exciting experiences that children need to experience in the first years in our world.
Short day sessions Our short day session is perfect for wrapping around the school day. 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Full day sessions Our full day session is anything outside of the short day, designed for our full day working parents.
Limited Free ECE sessions
In each group, we offer limited ECE sessions which are fully funded. These are fully government funded Kindy style traditional ECE sessions, where we charge no fees as the ECE funding covers it. These are for tamariki to access quality early childhood education before starting school. They run from 9am to 1pm, or 1pm to 5pm daily.
Anything else? Feel free to ask. Sometimes we have odd sessions and times that are not booked in and so we are able to be flexible for short periods of time. For example, we may have a gap between a child going to school and another due to start. We can’t permanently book these spaces, so we can sometimes book them on a short term basis, at a special rate.
