Tristan (TJ) is our Centre Manager. TJ has worked here for many years and in 2020 became our Centre Manager.
TJ loves nature, natural materials, loose parts, outdoors, reusing, repurposing, upcycling and creating beautiful environments using what the world offers. It is with this influence, that Nurturing Hearts provides a centre that is all about bringing the real world in and making our space a space that reflects home.
Anastasia, a lover of science is our Deputy Manager and she is based in the Tuakana room, alongside Aidan, who has a stong interest in sports, fitness and is often taking groups out to the carpark for fitness and sports games. .
Jess, a great introducer of art, creativity and sensory play, leads our Teina room and works alongside Shipra, who sets up beautiful inviting environments in the outdoors first thing in the morning.
And we have Christina and Malu who, as well as being ECE Teachers in training, work across all spaces, supporting the bigger picture of our centre to flow, ensuring tamariki are well supported and we have a strong team to support our tamariki.
We also often see Su, our Operations Manager, who loves to visit, play, share ideas and spend time here with us.
